Hi! My name is Iryna Mei, and I’m a professional retoucher specializing in high-end beauty and fashion retouching. I prefer natural retouching techniques to preserve skin texture and achieve an overall natural look. I also provide color grading and can match edits to a reference image upon request. My approach primarily relies on dodge and burn technique to correct skin imperfections without using filters or plugins, ensuring the skin remains as natural as possible.

A little about my background:

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Arts (Graphic Design) and graduated from an art academy, where I studied drawing techniques, color theory, human anatomy, photography, and other artistic disciplines. In my free time, I enjoy traditional drawing using various media - especially botanical and bird illustrations created with colored pencils.

My experience in photography began at the academy through photography classes and became a serious hobby in 2009 when I bought my first DSLR camera and became deeply engaged with it. My main interests were nature and, in particular, wildlife photography. During that time, I also retouched my own photos - mainly birds, animals, and landscapes. @emyanmei

I am also a digital artist, working in both 2D and 3D. In the past, I worked as a 3D artist in the architecture and game industries, and I currently work as a 2D digital artist in the game industry.

As an artist, I have long-term experience with Adobe Photoshop (since 2003), Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Lightroom (since 2009), and the Wacom tablet, which is my primary tool.

In my retouching work, I use a MacBook Pro, Wacom Intuos Pro, and Adobe Photoshop.
